On Monday, February 13, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm, you can learn how to take advantage of free video communication. If you have a webcam, microphone, and an Internet-connected computer you can make video calls with Skype and other free video services. The Library will be hosting the African-American Civil War Heroes performance on Saturday, February 25 at 1:00 pm at the Presbyterian Church Gymnasium across the street from the Library. Andrew Bowman will portray the last Civil War soldier to receive the Medal of Honor. An exhibit from the Audubon Museum entitled Slave to Soldier will be on display. Henderson County High School's Notorious Steppaz will also perform at the event. Registration will be held February 5 - 18. Registration is required, and space is limited.
