📅 Meet Jay Shidler – UK Basketball Legend & Author
Join us for a special evening with Jay Shidler, known to fans as “The Blonde Bomber.” Shidler first made his mark as a record-setting scorer and state champion at Lawrenceville High School before rising to college basketball royalty with the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
Shidler will share stories from his memoir, Blonde Bomber: A Ride With Shide, which offers an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the triumphs and trials of life as a basketball icon. From championship glory to the pressures and pitfalls of athletic fame, Jay’s story is one of grit, glory, and the personal journey of a man behind the legend.
