In honor of Native American Heritage Month, we’ll be reading Firekeeper’s Daughter by Angeline Boulley, an Ojibwe author whose debut novel has been celebrated for its powerful exploration of identity, justice, and community.
These discussions will provide a welcoming space for readers to reflect on the book’s cultural and personal significance, engage with themes of resilience and belonging, and connect with one another. Anyone who has read Firekeeper’s Daughter is welcome to attend.
50 copies will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting October 13. Limit one per patron.
